If you've clicked any news or social media site this week, chances are you've seen a post or two--or fifty--about The Hunger Games. The film's buzz is unavoidable given its Twilight-esque inducing hysteria (ask any 12 year old). That's why our Friday Faces this week is its mega-star, Jennifer Lawrence, who plays Katniss Everdeen.

The 21-year old actress isn't a one-hit-wonder; she's already been nominated for an Academy Award for Best Actress in Winter's Bone and for a smorgasbord of others. She’s also one to watch on the red carpet, having traded her youthful bohemian frocks for high-charged glamour. We're especially fond of her natural looking highlight-lowlight combo, tousled waves, and wispy bangs.

In The Hunger Games, her character and other teens are forced to battle each other in televised competitions—to the death. Sound disturbing? It is. But the story draws attention to themes like oppression, war, and severe poverty.

And now Lawrence and the cast are going a step further, redirecting the spotlight to help end world hunger. They've teamed up with the World Food Programme and Feeding America to educate about hunger as the world's "most solvable problem.” Visit the official site to donate a mere $5, which can feed an astounding 20 people. With The Hunger Games pegged as a franchise, we’ll be keeping up with this cause and Lawrence for a while.

wow now this chapter was eye onnpieg. Changing our frustration to HOPE! I learned that the only way we can do that is by realizing God sends us frustrations to grow us closer to Him, and to realize God is sovereign and bigger then we think so we can depend on Him, and we can have less frustrations if we put ourselves in God's will! One of my #five session points were My frustration was energy. My hope is God will give me the wisdom to know my priorities so I have time to spend with God and He will give me energy to work and study His Word.
