Love the One You're With

An Ode To...
"I'm not beautiful. My mother once called me an ugly duckling. But, listed separately, I have a few good features." - Audrey Hepburn
While we all know this is the most ridiculous thing we've ever heard, the woman does have one point worth talking about: our good features. We all have them. Some have fabulous eyes, like Taylor Swift...
Some have killer lips, like Miss Jolie...
Others have amazing cheekbones like Courtney Cox...
And some have simply fantastic noses, like Natalie Portman...
The point here is we all have amazing features and rather than focusing on the ones we wish we could change we should appreciate the ones we've got. Don't worry about the fact that you think your eyes are too close together, focus on the fact that when you put on that perfect shade of lip gloss your lips plump just right. Stop pulling on your face trying to make the skin tighter around your cheeks, appreciate the fact that you've never even had to think about having a nose job.
After you've taken full appreciation of those features that are perfect, take a good long look at the ones you don't like and embrace them too. Flawless features are beautiful but flaws are what make us who we are and that is more beautiful than any magazine cut out. So stop staring in the mirror criticizing yourself! Stop letting your mother tell you you're an ugly duckling! Love what you've got. Otherwise you could end up like this...
Scary.
