Beauty Trend: Bright Liner

From the runway to the red carpet, a favorite new beauty trend has been making a colorful splash: brightly hued eyeliner. This fresh take on lined lids makes eyes the focal point and makes everything from blue eyes to brown sparkle.
 
Our favorite runway look was the smoky blue version seen at Just cavalli Spring/Summer 2011. The extra bright color takes the look from black-and-blue eye to sultry stare, plus, blue and green looks good on any eye color. 
 
Beyonce and Kate Hudson both tried this look to great affect. The singer lined her top lids heavily with navy-blue, while Kate achieved an icy look with green on her bottom lash line. Beauty tip: add a little colored shadow on top of the liner to make it last through the evening, and don't forget an extra layer of mascara to make eyes pop.

 
Other colors we like to experiment with are gold, for a warm and sexy look, and purple, which deepens the color of brown eyes.

    I love Colorflo Apricot & Lily Blush. These give me some color so I don't look"washed out"and are very natural looking. I searched literally for years for colors I was happy with, these are the BEST EVER !

    I love this look. I saw it on the runway shots, but have had the hardest time redoing for myself. Can't wait to try this out with the guide!
