Friday Faces
"Every time you smile at someone, it is an action of love, a gift to that person, a beautiful thing." Mother Teresa
Mother Teresa dedicated her life to giving love and helping the less fortunate. She was a living saint whose charity operated 610 missions in 123 countries which included hospices and homes for orphans, HIV/AIDS patients and people with leprosy just at the time of her death, age 81. Mother Teresa was awarded the Pope John XXIII Peace Prize as well as many other awards for her endless humanitarian efforts.
Today, on what would have been her 101st birthday, we join the world in remembering the immense beauty of her great soul.
"If you can't feed a hundred people, then feed just one." Mother Teresa
"Let us touch the dying, the poor, the lonely and the unwanted according to the graces we have received and let us not be ashamed or slow to do the humble work." Mother Teresa
