Natalie Portman is simply flawless. A daring young woman with a remarkably elegant spirit and a clear sense of style. V for Vendetta, Star Wars: Episode I, Garden State, New York, I Love You, The Other Boleyn Girl, and the latest, Black Swan are a few of her well known roles.

However, her best role is giving back to people in need. FINCA is a passion of Portmans. She collaborated with Jordan's Queen Rania in developing FINCA, the Foundation for International Community Assistance, which "provides financial services to the world’s lowest-income entrepreneurs so they can create jobs, build assets and improve their standard of living..." (LookToTheStars.) Portman traveled to countries such as Uganda and Ecuador which altered her outlook on life and material things.

"It made me much more aware of the accumulation mentality," she adds. "Everyone is always trying to convince you that you need something new, and then you meet people that have one shirt. If I have 40 shirts, why would I ever buy anything more? And if I do, let me give everything I have away."  USA Today

A Harvard graduate, she has a drive for knowledge and for understanding the bigger picture... and that is beautiful.

I have always been an adirmer of Natalie Portman. Have you heard that rap song she did for SNL? If you haven't, you need to Youtube it, it's hilarious! It's so weird to see her watch/hear her swearing, lol. I have it on my Ipod. Lovely blog! How about following each other?
