What's the Big Deal?

Once upon a time, we existed in a world where foundation was cakey, limited to five shades and full of unidentifiable chemicals. The results of using a low quality foundation are catastrophic to your skin. Thank goodness for the invention of mineral makeup!

Mineral makeup, when in a loose form without fillers, is revolutionary. It contains no preservatives or emulsifiers—nothing that might aggravate your skin. It actually lets your skin breathe—thus it is the healthiest, most natural makeup you can put on your skin. Women who have trouble with traditional makeup tend to find that they can comfortably wear mineral foundation makeup. Makeup sensitivity is often the result of synthetic dyes, fragrances, and preservatives, so any makeup that eliminates these types of ingredients is going to help reduce some of the related problems. For those of you with sensitive skin, good news! Certain ingredients often found in mineral makeup have anti-inflammatory properties, so they can have a calming effect on your skin, which is particularly good for those who suffer from skin issues like rosacea or acne. Also, mineral makeup is non-comedogenic, so it won't clog your pores—it's not going to aggravate acne or cause a flare-up as easily as some traditional makeup can—in fact, Susan Posnick’s COLORFLO contains Vitamins A and E, which actually help to heal any sort of blemish.

Pure mineral makeup is much more light-weight than traditional liquid foundations and concealers, and is usually applied in layers, depending on how much coverage you need or want. Thick, heavy cosmetic products tend to settle into those fine lines and wrinkles, accentuating imperfections. Powdered mineral foundation on the other hand actually creates a “soft focus” effect, which makes lines and wrinkles virtually disappear! Because mineral makeup blends with the oils in your skin, you end up with a much more natural, flawless look—it is your skin, just better.

Minerals also offer almost endless color possibilities. Blending these various pigments can provide practically any color desired. Since the natural pigments do blend with the heat and oils of your own skin, the foundation colors are quite adaptable.

Susan Posnick COLORFLO mineral foundation and COLORME mineral color contain 100% pure mineral pigment from the earth.  Pure mineral makeup will not contain any stabilizers, emulsifiers, additives or fillers (such as powder, talc, corn starch).  Mineral cosmetics can also add vitamins, as well as natural sun protection with differing amounts of micronized titanium dioxide and zinc oxide—the higher the percentage of these physical sun blocks, the higher the protection.

Once you go mineral makeup, you'll never go back!

I've been hooked on this for years! There's nothing else that can make my skin look so fresh while providing great coverage at the same time. I've always been self-conscious about my skin, but have gotten many compliments while wearing the Color-Flo.

I love this makeup and I will never go back. I don't like spending a lot of time in front of the mirror so this is perfect for me: sun protection, smooth finish, and subtle color combined with the blush and eye products. Its all so easy to travel with as well.
